All team members at Publitas are responsible for their own growth and career development. With the 1-1/2-1 sessions, you, as a team member, have the platform to discuss whatever you deem to be important to achieve your goals and drive your growth. Your team lead(s) will guide and support you. However, you yourself are responsible for your success.

💡 The 1-1/2-1 approach* allows a bi-directional process between team leads and members to support each other's performance within their areas of responsibility.

** Please note that some teams have 2-1 sessions where 2 leads pair up to combine their strengths.*

General Checklist and Guidelines
- Review 1-1/2-1 notes from the previous session, reflect on your performance before the meeting, and provide a status update. (AoRs and KPIs).
- Set and clarify the expected bar for AoRs and KPIs together with your lead.
- Get feedback from the team lead and reflect together on potential issues, action plans, and achievements.
- Write an update in your Performance Asana task after the session.
Why do we do these updates? We can’t track growth without data points from both the team member and the lead. It helps to reflect and learn from the past while staying on track to achieve results and reach goals.
Keep in mind:
- ⏯️ Team members can choose to record the sessions.
- 🔦 Both team leaders and team members can skip any level within the organization and include others if they think they can shine a fresh light on any topic or challenge. Both team leads and team members should agree on this upfront.
- To include someone in the sessions, please make sure to check with the person beforehand as well.
- Once all three parties have agreed, share an update in the Performance Asana Task of the team member and tag HR.
